Traveler advice
Getting around
bucharest is a traffic-heavy city so prepare for jams
infrastructure is not bucharest's strongest suit. traffic jams are very frequent.
sometimes buses can be a great option if u're a bit creative and willing to walk for a bit.
the subway is very under serviced and does not cover a lot of areas.
personally, i prefer cycling but since there are very few bike lanes it often feels like having a death wish.
most of the central locations are easily accessible by foot.
ubers are fairly cheap if you're willing to splurge.
