Sightseeing

Places I love in Albuquerque!
Art gallery, paletas (homemade Mexican popsicles) and access to Rio Grande river trails and bike trails. Also a space with events like film screening, salsa dancing, interesting lectures, performances and more. If you can visit the torre (tower), it houses a fascinating 360 degree mural of the history of Mexico (which includes present day Mexico).

Hiking galore! $1 or $2 parking fee, incredible views of Sandia mountains, the city and huge area to enjoy sunrise, sunset or mid-day sun! Plenty of tables for those who pack a picnic as well! Affordable alternative to the tram.

My favorite New Mexican restaurant in town. Try the blue corn enchiladas or fajitas, finish off with a hot sopapilla and honey!
