The lake is a lovely spot for a walk. You can wake-board, hire pedalos, stand-up paddle-boards and karts. The tourist information office is located there too. There is a cafe at one end of the lake if you want to stop for refreshments but equally a picnic is ideal here. Whilst swimming in the lake is not permitted, there's always paddling!

Everything Else

Toulouse is a beautiful, vibrant city with so much to offer. There are many places to explore but a good place to start is on the Place Capitol and work out from there, exploring the side streets and popping into delicious shops such as Comptoirs de Mathilde. The Flowers tearoom offers a delicious selection of teas and cakes and if you are able to find a seat on the terrace, there's a little fountain where a busker will often play. It takes around 40 mins to get into Toulouse and we generally park in Jean-Jaures car park which is just off Place Wilson (where there are a couple of cinemas, one of which has VO films). Place Wilson also has a lovely old Carousel and central park area.
