Highly recommended for Sunday roasts. it neighbours another fine pub called The Greys and if you wander up the hill you will discover The Fover Castle and then Haus on the Hill. All fine pubs in the Hanover part of the city. Short walk from the house but lovely pubs if you don't want to venture I to the city centre. Other pubs to look out for are Freehaus (free table football and darts) and The Setting Sun which really does have the most beautiful view over the sea from the top of the hill.
