These are all of our favorite food and drink spots we highly recommend going to in South San Francisco!
Our go-to coffee spot! We always get the tahitian vanilla latte or the spiced rose latte on ice, but you can get it hot as well.

The famous Philz coffee! Originating from the city, this super popular coffee spot branched out to the rest of the bay area and more. Definitely a must-try when visiting SF if you love coffee! Our favorites are the mint mojito and the estatic iced coffee.

Great little coffee spot! We recommend getting drinks with their house-made crema if it's available and if you like your coffee on the sweeter side. Their pastry and desserts are top notch as well!

Don't let the name of this place fool you. It used to be a ramen place, but after the space was purchased, the new owners kept the original English signage to save on having to pay for a new business name. You know the food has to be good when they don't even care about the name of the restaurant! Most of the food is good here but our absolute favorite dish is the Rice Noodle Roll with Braised Beef Brisket. They also have poor reviews online because of their customer service so I recommend getting takeout!

Awesome little spot for Xiao Long Baos (soup dumplings). They make them fresh in-house, as well as a handful of other great dumplings with different fillings. The crushed fresh cucumbers, garlic string beans, and green onion pancakes are also solid choices.

Probably one of the best places to get an authentic plate of Jamaican food in the Bay Area. The oxtail stew/jerk chicken combo plate is super flavorful and comes with rice and beans, sauteed veggies, and fried plantains. Their Jamaican patties are awesome as well. A must try if you're in the area.

A must try lunch spot that serve comically massive sandwiches with a ridiculously tasty garlic and hot pepper sauce! Wait times are long if you don’t get there early!

Another hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall, type of place where parking is a bit difficult and the neighborhood may look a bit sketchy, but absolutely worth making the trip for. They serve one of THE BEST carne asada/al pastor burritos in the Bay Area and have excellent shrimp tacos as well.

White Elephant is authentic Thai Cuisine that is a true hidden gem. The Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, and stuffed eggplant are just some examples of our favorite dishes among many others we've tried there.

Local watering hole for great vibes, great food, and great location to watch sports events. They have most of the major spirits, a small selection of draft beers, a bunch of TVs, and even a small pool table. At the time of writing this, they still do Taco Tuesdays and Wings Wednesday.
