Public Transport
This is the place where you can get the waterferry which will take you straight to the city centre (Nyhavn) or the street-food market at Refshaleøen. The ferry trip itself is highly recommendable and somewhat of a sightseeing in itself. All that for the price of a regular busticket. The waterferry is by far my favorite way of public transport in Copenhagen

Madscenen
Street-food area on Refshaleøen, here you can get delicious specialties from every corner of the world. With more than 40 food-stalls and bars you will not go hungry or thirsty from this visit. Some of my favorites are the chicken pulled-pork burger, The nordic hotdog or some of the delicious stews from baobab. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Take the waterferry to Refshaleøen, It's the last stop, or go there by bike, 20 minutes ride from my apartment.

Fantastic place to have a traditional danish meal. At Guldkroen 11 you can experience all of the classic Danish dishes, even "Rød grød med fløde" for dessert. I cannot highlight anything from the menu enough because i simply love all their picks. Be sure to BOOK IN ADVANCE since it is very popular. The atmosphere is informal and the decoration is oldschool danish tavern-style.
