Reservations are a must.
This fabulous winery lets you sip wine as you pet some of the goats and other animals on the property. Each animal has a charming write-up to tell you about each personality. Another highlight is the on-site food truck. Or you can bring your own picnic, buy one of their fabulous wines and have lunch. The wines are all organic and although we're not really fans of Gewürztraminer (too sweet), we LOVED Off the Grid's. It has an orangy rose colour and is not sweet at all but rather kind of "soft" like the French Sauternes wines we love when in France. Love this place!

This massive winery incorporates artwork throughout and also has lots of big bus tours going through. Highlight: Take a "Sip and Paint" class with a local artist. Sip wine as you follow the artist's strokes and create your own masterpiece!

Lovely, small home winery. Take a picnic or order some appies and sip on a rosé in their lovely backyard. The host Roberto is delightful and his wine making pays homage to his Italian parents. Highlight: Roberto will make you a cappuccino if you need a break from vino!

This winery is the brainchild of uber millionaire, Markus Frind, founder of Plenty of Fish (POF) dating site. This is the only winery accessible by boat/paddleboard/kayak/lake. Annie's Bistro opens at 7am for coffee and delicious house-baked pastries. Buy a bottle of wine and take your lunch to one of the picnic tables or patio. Frind offers yoga classes in the summer. NEW in 2021! Beach Walk fav!!

WOW .... this word best describes the new tasting room and restaurant at Mt. Boucherie. Try the burgers and 2017 Reserve Syrah (fantastic!). Everyone in our party said these were easily the best burgers they'd ever had. Juicy, perfectly cooked meat, house-made pickles, best sesame buns. Watching other food being served to other patrons all looked delicious too. You can buy preserves and other goodies there too and bring a picnic of your own food (and even wine) to have in the picnic area. Nice views top it all off! Tip! Go for happy hour and try the Marinated Feta and Buddy Burgers, mmmm ....

Even if you aren't vegetarian, trust me, you will find something to love at this outstanding plant-based restaurant in Kelowna. Exquisite food, presentation and service. Outdoor patio. Reservations recommended. PS This is located in a strip mall off the main highway going through Kelowna. They have made the patio nice though and the food is so good, it doesn't matter where it is located :-)
