Based in the South Hams, we have a mix of stoney, shingle and sandy beaches.
A sandy beach where you can either walk across to Burgh Island, famous from Agatha Christies Poirot, when the tide is out or catch the sea tractor when the tide is in. Once at Burgh Island there is a pub, The Pilchard Inn, to enjoy a drink. Dogs are welcome on the beach out of season.

An English Heritage site to visit at the mouth of the River Dart. Limited parking is available. There's walks to coves such as Castle Cove and Sugary Cove. The tea rooms are also situated right next to the castle and church.
