Bar meals are served 5-7pm most days and are great value. Lots of locals say this is the best fish and chips in the area; I often prefer the quiche.
Regularly wins local CAMRA pub of the year and is a traditional layout with bar, lounge and snug, as well as a restaurant upstairs.
The drink and food sides of the business are separate so you have to pay for them separately too.
