Food Scene

This is a really nice new bakery/cafe which has recently opened in the area. It's less than five minutes walk away and is already super popular. Definitely worth checking out during your stay!

This is a lovely, cute little pub with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Hidden away in the middle of the North Laines, it's a good place to avoid some of the boozier elements!

GDS is one of my favourite Brighton venues, holding gigs throughout the week, many of which are free of charge. Friday and Saturday nights usually involve live music 'early' (7-11), followed by themed club nights (things like Talking Heads v Blondie).
