Shopping

The Jordaan area is probably the most idyllic and romantic part of Amsterdam. It is known for its many beautifull canal houses and small streets crossing the bridges. Keep your camera ready because it is worth a shot! The Jordaan is also perfect to do some shopping. There are nine main streets together called "The 9 Streets", which forms the centre of cute boutiques with vintage clothing, art, rarities, bars and cafe's.

THE nicest street of Amsterdam, the Utrechtsestraat! It has many nice boutiques, brown cafés and good restaurants. We are absolutely in love with this street. Thirsty? Stop at Café Krom, Yannick has worked here for 2 years or go to Café Nel, where you can enjoy the biggest terras of Amsterdam, watching over the canal. Hungry? Go to Harmsen. Not cheap, but really good food and wine!
