I don't drink coffee, but they have great iced chai lattes. Their Breakfast Burrito Panini Style is also great, or for lunch try their Curry Chicken Wrap. It's a nice local coffee shop.

A great typical 'plate lunch' place. If you are looking for a normal Hawaiian meal, this is the place to come. Descent prices, and won't leave you feeling heavy (but will leave you feeling full).

Amazing local BBQ place. The pork is to die for (get it with the Bok Choy slaw, and the Okinawan sweet potatoes with mango chutney). You won't regret this side-of-the-road stop.

Obama's favorite place to pick-up a Hawaiian style 'shave ice' in Kailua. Make sure you get a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the bottom and a 'snow cap' (condensed milk) on top for the full experience.

Great Japanese family-style hibachi. Order the meats/fish/vegetables in marinades and they bring them to your table for you to cook to your liking. Miso Tare Harami is the best thing on the menu.

Small parking lot, but you can park on the streets (Kapaa / Hauoli) outside of a house (don't block mailbox or driveway and park in direction of traffic) nearby and walk. Less busy and just as pretty.
