Food Scene

My favourite place in town! It is right on the market square so it is lively with great decor and atmosphere. Fantastic food and good value for money! Try the lamb shoulders ....and the cheesecake!

The food market is open until 1pm everyday. You must go to taste the delicacies of the region and to soak up the bustling vibe. Start your day with oysters and a dry white, or a truffle omelette! Or simply pick things up for a picnic on the beach later.

Arts & Culture

Great place to take the kids or something to do if the rain clouds have rolled in. Its open late into the evening in the summer and the display is fantastic - including a shark tank!

Parks & Nature

Walking from the light house to the Cotes des Basque is a great way to see the views, the coast line and the charm of Biarritz. You pass the port vieux, the aquarium and the fishing port with it's restaurants, as well as take in the great views of the cliffs and beaches.

Essentials

This very handy supermarket is just at the bottom of the street. They also have fresh bread. Not always open on Sundays so stock up on essentials!
