We recommend this place as a good place to try an authentic version of the Porto's specialty sandwich, the Francesinha. It is a large sandwich and coupled with some sparkling sangria makes it a lovely lunch or dinner! Needs reservation for dinner, and for lunch its better to get there early. It's 200m from our apartment. Not vegetarian.

We recommend this place as a good place to try an authentic version of the Porto's specialty sandwich, the Francesinha. It is a large sandwich and coupled with some sparkling sangria makes it a lovely lunch or dinner! Needs reservation for dinner, and for lunch its better to get there early. It's 200m from our apartment. Not vegetarian.

Best vegetarian place in town. We recommend the Spinach Vegetarian "Alheira" for a starter and Mushroom's Risotto as the main course. It is not in the city center but it is 20/25 minutes away from our apartment if you take the Metro (direction Casa da Música), or 10 minutes if you take an Uber or Taxi.
