To get away for the City for an hour to get some fresh air, head to Port Meadow. There is an amazing pub on the other side of the River called The Perch.

This is the Old Castle Quarter which houses the old Victoria Prison that it now a hotel Malmaison! Great place to stop for a bite to eat or to even soak up the atmosphere. Apparently it is haunted!

If you even slightly like Thai food this place will blow your socks off! Sassi's is a hidden treasure, and I am just pleased she set up shop in Oxford. It is cheap and undoubtly the best Thai food this side of Bangkok. Go for lunch between 12 - 14:30
