Food Scene

Although a little pricey, this restaurant is great for a special night out. Excellent food, consistently good. Try their Utah red trout in a delicious mango salsa - or their excellent steaks.

Cosy little spot in the old railway station house in Park City. Good lattes and if you want a healthy breakfast - here's the spot. A little pricy but good atmosphere and tasty food.

Avoid the crowds and duck into this little teeny tiny coffee shop in Park City gardens/nursery. It's housed in the original Park City store from silver mining days, and has good coffee and a limited selection of pastries. Neat little gift shop in the Gardens too.

Busy bar hang-out with bar food. Fun in summer when they often have live music and you can sit out on the roof top. Te minute walk from the studio.

Pricey, but a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit to see their traditional whisky distillery and sample a few appetizers.

Hiking

Great little hike up the mountain through the trees for some good views along the way. Not too hard for those unaccustomed to the altitude, but enough to get your hear rate going!
Go to the top of Bear Hollow Dr and look for the trail head to the left of the road. Park there and hike up through the trees to the top for great views. Best to download a trail map if you want to explore beyond the immediate trail - there are trails branching off all over. Moderate trail.

This is less a hike than a beautiful walk. You can access this trail from behind the Post Office on Park Ave (on the 224) and walk all the way to Kimball Junction - a good 4-5 miles but a great walk. And of course you can finish off with a coffee at Park City Coffee Roasters. And then electric bike back!

Head up towards Guardsman's Pass and keep going (about a half hour drive) to the trailhead. Then get ready for a 3-4 hour hike that has amazing views. It feels like you are in the Swiss Alps. Take plenty of water and snacks. It's a rigorous hike.
