This is probably the biggest fish market of the world and it deserves a visit if you are in Tokyo. You can enjoy a tour around the different stands and you can try so many type of different fish and other type of food. Amazing! If you want to witness the traditional Auction activities, visit the market as early as 3am to get a reservation. Too early to wake up, but a memorable experience! Go and see before it will be transferred to a farther place. Note: A good breakfast in the area is a must-try.

This beautiful garden, one of Tokyo’s finest, is all that remains of a shōgunal palace that once extended into the area now occupied by Tsukiji Market. The main features are a large duck pond with an island that’s home to a charming tea pavilion, Nakajima no Ochaya , as well as some wonderfully manicured trees (black pine, Japanese apricot, hydrangeas etc), some of which are hundreds of years old.
