If you are looking for a family friendly ski area, look no further. Diamond Peak has a variation of terrain without the huge crowds of the larger mountains. it is also the perfect place to learn to ski. My son skied there on their ski team for many years. it still hold special place in my heart.

Don't miss
Emerald Bay
If this is your first trip to Lake Tahoe or it’s been a while, take a day and drive around to beautiful Emerald Bay. It is breathtaking. In the summer there are also boat trips that will take you there as well
What to pack
Our homes are very well stocked , but see below for extra
In the winter, Tahoe gets cold. Make sure to pack warm clothes and shoes. In The Enchanted Cottage, Timber Creek, and Enchanted Retreat we supply house slippers for your use. In the summer, normally the days are in the low to mid 80’s however we have had a week here and there that could reach low 90’s. Nights are cool. We have fans in the homes, but Tahoe houses do not have AC. We have pac n plays . Bathrooms have towels, lotions shampoo and body sprays.. In the 3 Homs we also supply an array of beach/ hot tub towels, beach chairs, wagons, beach toys, ice chest, beach umbrellas.
Traveling with kids
We supply pac n plays
No need to pack your pac n play. We have them at all of our homes. We do not supply sheets though. If you need something else give us a call. We used to recommend Babies Away for rentals, but we have had clients inform us they are not reliable
Getting around
Public transportation is just a block walk
In the winter, the 3 of our properties : Enchanted Cottage, Timber Creek, Timber Creek are only a block from public transportation. The Tart only runs during the day, but in the winter you can take it to either Northstar Ski area as well as Palisades Tahoe. In the summer The TART also does the same route, so safe your time and gas money. The TART is free
