This is the best coffee I've had - bar none. Each cup is made exclusively for the customer. It's so popular that many times you have to stand in a fairly long line but, if you love really good coffee and have the time, it's worth it!

A throw-back to a campus bar where free peanut shells can be thrown on the floor and there's $4 margaritas and mexican food. Very casual; pretty good for watching sports at the bar; Can be seedy-looking but it's full of students and nerds in the evenings and weekends.

Open only at night, our friend, Moody, opened this wine bar not too many months ago. Friendly, easy-going inside & outside wine bar with an art gallery in the rear of the building. Less pricey than CalAve wine bar across the street.

Arts & Culture

The Rodin Sculpture garden on Stanford Campus is amazing. It is one of the largest exhibits of Rodin sculptue anywhere and most of the sculpture is outside of the Stanford Art Museum and some is scattered around Stanford campus.

Sightseeing

Stanford University has beautiful architecture and is well worth a visit. It's best to park (say on Palm Drive) and do a walking tour.
