Arguable the best quality espresso in town. The owner (Chris) is perhaps the single most dedicated coffee maker in all of Montreal. Couteau has a great patio out front, right on rue St-Denis.

The back of McAuslan Brewery is a huge patio bar facing the Lachine canal. Order burgers and nachos so you have an excuse to order more beer to wash it all down with. It's best to ride a bike down!
