Our closest local coffee drop-in. They're atmosphere isn't the best, but they're coffee's good. Their raspberry oat bar is practically a requirement before heading out on any sort of adventure.

Tucked in next to a grocery store, this place's menu literally has something for everyone. Scott thinks their Cactus Burger is the best in town. Period.

This place is usually busy. For a reason. They make their own meats and brew some of their own beers. if you're not afraid of a little grease, their Beer Buddies (dough balls with parmesan & dipping sauces) are to die for.

Parks & Nature

Spokane's best neighborhood park. Walking a loop around the park and back to the house takes about 20 minutes. This is our morning ritual and pairs nicely with a cup a coffee.

While it gets quite busy on weekends. Manito is Spokane's largest park. It features a duck pond & large playgrounds for families, but also separate regions featuring European gardens and rose gardens as well as a beautiful Japanese garden that perfect for reading or contemplation.
