One of my absolute favorite spots. Very good and exciting dishes and a very modern and diverse vibe. Great food and wine and delicious cocktails. Very great for a pre-party dinner or just the missus who needs spoiling. That's what I love about this joint, room for everybody!

A great place I very much enjoy is the meatpacking district (Kødbyen) which one the most buzzing areas in Copenhagen at the moment. For eating and drinking in Kødbyen there are so many nice places and possibilities, so just go there and you will quickly figure it out.

just behind Nørreport (from where you will emerge from the Metro elevator). It is a high-class food market, meats, marmelades, wine, seafood, coffee and tea, alchohol, bakery, ...where they also have a great outside cava bar

It's actually changes name to Papirøen (paper island), and is a old ships hanger which not host a dense concentration of street food trucks and stands from all over the world. I emplore you go there! Opens at 11 am and closes about 9pm, so both lunch, dinner and drinks can be made there!

Very old fashioned drink/cocktail place. Very fancy with big leather chairs, waiters in shirts and vests, and ver exquisite array of fine alcohol - so if you'll feel like treating yourself with some 15-16€ drinks, then this is the spot!

Sightseeing

The big sight of my neck of the woods is the ‘free state’ Christiania. If you haven’t heard of this place and the access to weed, I will tell you it’s much more than that. The area is founded on an abandoned gathering of barracks from the WWII and was swarmed by activists that wished to separate themselves from societal rules. This place has got a rough history, but are now a beautiful unique place with a friendly vibe and is the fourth most visited tourist attraction in Denmark. Of course it is now under the general Danish law, but they have been granted some exceptions to the laws of buildings and structures, which is show by the vast and creative houses and huts that now house a population of 5-600 people. Definitely worth a look and is only a 10 minute walk from my apartment (grab a falafel on the square that has a ridiculous small service window (best I’ve ever had) or grab a beer at “Nemoland Café” with a round of backgammon (stay clear of the weed, lot of police activity at the moment

I would also take a stroll through the city center and around Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn (that also have a very beautiful and well-preserved feel of the Danish architecture and marine traits. Both in Nyhavn and Christianshavn you’ll find some of the oldest buildings in Copenhagen. You could grab a drink or beer, but do not eat at Nyhavn, it is very expensive and shitty food and you’ll get the generic shitty tourist platter). There are usually a lot of people there and it is nice to walk around there on a late afternoon or night.

Parks & Nature

Copenhagen (used to be Royal) Park. Has very lovely scenery. Lot of deers and small curly paths. I would suggest renting a bike to cover more ground and see the whole thing. Take an S-train to 'Klampenborg Station' and you'll be right by the east entrance.
