Rarely do you get so close to a working port with many of the local fishing boats berthed here. A real buzz when the Sydney to Hobart yacht race is on!

The MONA phenomenon has taken the art world by storm. Take the ferry or self drive to the museum. I am fascinated with the architecture and materials used for the structure. Quite amazing.

Food Scene

The Sandy Bay Wood Fired Pizza is a TINY place with great views of Sandy Bay. My best pizza place. Can get very cosy because it is so small but with easy free parking and BYO, yep it has got to be one of my favourite spots. Be warned: Cash only!! Sit in or take away BUT no delivery.
