Sushi! Close to home and very special. No reservations are taken, what we often do is head up to put our name down (usually an hour wait) but they will call you when your table is nearly ready which is great because you can come home for a bit instead of waiting out front

Sightseeing

This is a must do if you are new to Maui. Drive carefully and my recommendation would be to always let the locals pass. It's a very windy road. Lots of stopping points to see roadside waterfalls and great views. Full day activity. We love Hamoa beach out in Hana when you get there and the Thai Food by Pranee is always delicious if they are open!
