It's extremely beautiful and where the Caminito Del Rey ends. So at least give this a visit if you don't feel up to the Caminito Del Rey. To get there go from roundabout in Alora town centre on A7077 and keep on this road. 16 km from house https://www.google.es/maps/dir/Calle+Bajondillo,+29500+%C3%81lora,+M%C3%A1laga/El+Chorro/@36.8289101,-4.7069008,15z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0xd72eaf4f3d4a2c1:0x2709332fa5a84f93!2m2!1d-4.7050685!2d36.8220183!1m5!1m1!1s0xd72be51e80ab039:0x1e5dd94cbef6d970!2m2!1d-4.7596131!2d36.9092139!5i1

The Lakes at Ardales are like heaven and you will not want to leave. You will think you have died and gone to heaven in that bright blue fresh water.

Set in the heart of Malaga Old Town it is a good central point to start your tour of Malaga. A must see! Then move round the corner to the Pablo Picasso Museum. He was a native of Malaga and it has an impressive collection. Best parking is here: Parking Central Plaza de la Marina, 5, 29001 Málaga

One of my personal seven wonders of the world...you can book online in advance to see all of it or buy tickets on the door to see most (but not quite all) of it. Simply beautiful Moorish architecture. Book tickets https://tickets.alhambra-patronato.es/en/

If you don't feel like travelling as far as Granada or Cordoba, then Antequera is a very nice day out. The ancient castle there is well worth a visit and Antequera is nice to explore. Well recommended. Personally, I would recommend this more than a day in Ronda, which is overrated. Plaza de los Escribanos, s/n, 29200 Antequera, Málaga http://turismo.antequera.es/place/alcazaba/

Ronda is very popular for a day visit, but I find it overrated. There are so many more places to see.
