Hands-down best Korean BBQ in SF. $20/person all-you-can-eat. If you haven't had Korean BBQ before, they provide the pre-marinated meat and you get to grill your own food (and smell like it too =P)

Best Chicago-style deep-dish pizza you can get in San Francisco. One time I got a "small" with two 6ft guys... and we couldn't eat it all. Pizzas take 45min to cook, but it's well worth the wait.

German-style restaurant that is so good it's hard to dine here without a reservation. My trick is to go for brunch Sunday morning. Their Weisswurst is better than some I've had in Germany.

Cozy and well-decorated, feels just like a book club gathering location (the kind that involves alcohol). My favorite drink is a martini that has balsamic in it. I forgot what it's called though ^^;;

Unlike most city grocers, Nabila's actually has a good selection of fresh produce. And an impressive array of healthy grains and trail mix. I've basically stopped going to Safeway. Oh, and baklava!

How convenient is it to live right next to a corner store? You'll find out when you are in your PJs and have the munchies for some ice cream at 10pm =)
