Super trendy cafe with great coffee, tasty bagels, and excellent vibes. There’s ample space to work inside and in the hidden patio out the back. Don’t forget to get a haircut or colour at the adjoining salon if you’re in the market.

Best Detroit style deep dish pizza outside of The Motor City. We recommend “They Call Me Bruce” and “Truffle Shuffle”.

Little Duchess at Ritchie Market is a satellite of the uber popular Duchess bake shop on 124th St. It's as delicious as the parent location, just smaller and typically a bit less busy. I don't know where to start as far as specific recommendations are concerned. Just get everything they have.

A great place to get in touch with flora from around the world. There’s an excellent café at the front as well. I’ve sat with my laptop for work in the outdoor dining area many a time.

For $6 you can ride the historic trolley car from Whyte Ave, across the High Level Bridge to Jasper Ave, and then back again. It's a great opportunity to see the river valley from the air, take in terrific views of the city skyline, and even market hop between Whyte Ave and downtown.
