Neighborhoods

A clean, safe, trendy area with local shops and restaurants across the river from downtown Spokane. Try Umi's for Sushi or Yards Bruncheon for unique and classic brunch dishes. There's also Maryhill Tasting room in this neighborhood. The Scoop is a popular local ice cream choice. Take a stroll on the paved sidewalk that runs along the river.

Downtown Spokane - Your typical downtown vibe. There's more upscale areas surrounding Riverfront Park with a mall, local/chain restaurants and bars. The Pavillion at Riverfront Park hosts concerts mostly during the warmer months. There are some more run down areas and a homeless population downtown but we haven't had any problems in the last 20 years of living in Spokane. Parking is metered street parking (free after 7pm) or parking garages. Few business have small parking lots. We're foodies and you'll find some of the Spokane areas best restaurants downtown. Wiley's, Wild Sage, Mizuna, Hogwash, and Volstead Act are high on our list of favorites for a night out.
