Rhinebeck is a bit more posh and upscale. We love the local five & dime store Stickles. Great shopping, Yoga and lots of restaurants all right in town. There is a farmers market on Sunday. It's on the way back to NYC. Amtrak also comes in to Rhinecliff if you need to drop off or pick up anyone coming in from NYC

I go here for Raw milk. The most stunning farm you'll ever see. This is a Rockefeller farm and they often have great classes too. In the winter they do holiday carols in sing to the cows in the barn. Award winning cheese too.
