Neighbourhoods

This is my 'hood and it's the best! If you need groceries there are 2 Co-ops, Kindly has a range of health foods and Jasmine Healthfood Shop has great fruit and vegetables. Seven Cellars has an excellent selection of wine and craft beer and the staff are really knowledgable and helpful. If you're after some food Red Snapper and The Cow have great Thai food. Latina has great homemade-style Portuguese food and the best pasteis de nata ever. Flour Pot Bakery has great pastries and sandwiches (and a courtyard for seating), Bror has healthy breakfast bowls and great salads, and Small Batch Coffee has a varied breakfast menu and good coffee. If you are vegetarian / vegan then T@theDials has an exclusively vege and vegan menu. If you'd like some drinks The Shakespeare's Head is just across the road, and the Good Companion is just up the road. The Cow and L'atelier Du Vin are up at the Seven Dials roundabout.

Oeuf is a category all on its own. It's my favourite breakfast / brunch spot in Sussex. Booking is necessary although they do take walk-ins. The shortest walk to Oeuf is through Hove and takes around 25 minutes. A more scenic route is to walk down to and then along the seafront. This takes around 35 minutes. If you are driving there is pay per hour metered parking in the cafe's road.

This is my favourite restaurant in Brighton. It's just up the road at the Dials. Booking is recommended. They do lunch and dinner and you can also (generally) get a takeaway but they're not on the apps, you need to call or go in to order one. I can't recommend anything particular on the menu because everything is the best.
