Getting around
Car rental recommended
Car rental is recommended so you can explore the island on your own but if you choose not to. Taxis are readily available. Taxi to Red Hook is $7 a person each way. Don't forget to tip! :)
What to pack
Bring comfortable shoes
Point Pleasant is situated on a hill/small mountain. You will be doing a lot of walking and some on uneven surfaces. Bring walking shoes.
What to pack
Bug Spray & Reef Safe Sunscreen.
"Noseeums" come out late in the afternoon & only "reef safe" sunscreen is legal in the USVI.
