After Gorica Park, head to the city center and proceed to Old Ribnica River Bridge. This bridge was built when Montenegro was under the Roman Empire and is the oldest bridge in Podgorica. Today you can see that it had major reconstruction when they were under the rule of the Ottoman Empire in the 18th century. The water is a gorgeous blue. The Ribnica river which flows under this bridge flows right into the Moraca river. Medieval remains on the confluence of two significant rivers makes great atmosphere. When you are here, you can spend time just marveling at the bridge on your feet, or having a seat and really soaking it in. There is blue rushing water that goes under the bridge and there is plenty of land to walk around and enjoy the area. Just above the bridge you will find remains of an 10 century town Ribnica which is a birthplace of the Serbian most significant dynasty ancestor - Stefan Nemanja.

After Old bridge take a stroll through the Saint Peter Of Cetinje Boulevard to the Orthodox cathedral of Christ's resurrection. Constructed between 1993 and 2013, this is one of the most spectacular Cathedrals to be built in the last century. Your eyes will be blown away by its authentic architecture and sculptures. It's made of the local huge rocks, unlike many Orthodox cathedrals. The idea was to transform every rock into an art masterpiece, so you can see some sculptures of an Angels and Saints on the facade. Interior reminds of those old Byzantine churches full of gold. Practically every fresco is painted in golden background. Marble floor and pillars are giving a special touch of magnificence . It's a unique holly place where local politicians burn in hell on fresco. That's just local dark humor of which we are widely known. :)
