Food Scene

Just on the south side of the National Cathedral, Open City's second location is a nice hidden gem that serves coffee, pastries, desserts, some sandwiches, and my favorite the Belgian Waffles. Also right next to the Bishop's Garden if you want to walk around and a big playground on the northeast side of the Cathedral.

Excellent baked goods and coffee. Down the hill in Georgetown, our family will usually eat and walk with our coffee down to Washington Harbor and the park next to it to feed the ducks grapes and stretch our legs. Occasionally has a musician playing guitar just outside.
