A jewel for the city. Here you can: Read books at a library, listen some Opera, sit and have a coffee, take the coffee with you, walk in the park, stare at a canal, learn to sail, do some ice-skating (during Xmas), enjoy a Bike ride, take great pics of the Saronic Gulf, stare in awe some magnificent modern architecture, attend to an admission-free rock concert (during summer), do some Yoga.... A special, free shuttle bus runs from Syntagma sq, through Syggrou-Fix, to the SNfCC.

a small bit of the cycladic scenery fell on the hillside of the Acropolis. Walk in the narrow streets, heading to the top. Once you get there, look around and ...enjoy the view.

The ruins of the classical temple of Poseidon (a twin brother to the Parthenon), over sandy beaches (where you can swim in crystal clear waters), near the southern border of Attica. Oh! And something else: If you believe in meta-physical experiences, that's the good spot. (mind the cliff!)

The 300m high hill that raises in the middle of the Athenean basin, is a very nice spot, from where one could have a good look over the Capital. From up there, you can see the surrounding mountains, the Faliron bay, the Acropolis Hill. There are two tops: You should head towards St George, the small church and the near by cafe. If the heat makes you idle, take the funicular, from the Kolonaki neighbourhood. At the open air theater that is constructed at the other top, if you are lucky, you might enjoy a concert!

The most AMAZING place I had the chance to visit lately! Fairy-tail setting to stare in awe, classical music, coffee, tea and sweet snacks! Best time to go, after sunset, when the streetlights are lit.
