A lovely walk along the promenade (or the mini train, which is available during the summer season) to a kids paddling pool & picnic area. It is right alongside the beach, with the junction cafe, or across the main road is the woodman inn, with lovely food served, it's also dog friendly, with beer garden. Plus a small local convenience shop nearby . A lovely day out. Clyne gardens entrance ( free entry ) is accessible at the side of the woodman pub.

Straight along the promenade from mumbles is the marina, a half an hour's walk, a beautiful walk. Restaurants, pubs, an amusement arcade. Near the city centre. The pump house pub is a lovely place to eat, outside or inside sitting areas also dog friendly, a nice place to visit.

Mumbles summer mini train
There is a mini train that runs along the promenade in mumbles, during the summer months. It runs from the pier, along the promenade to Blackpill paddling pool, all day. A lovely place to sit & have a picnic, or there is the junction cafe or the woodman pub (dog friendly) across the main road.
