A cosy little place that serves amazing seafood. The menu changes with what the catch brings in so there's always variety. Wine list is good too!

A Michelin star restaurant around 10 minutes walk from The Old Dairy. Expect a tasting menu of multiple courses - one for those special occasions.

A very cosy little pub and one of our favourites. Not overly full of tourists, serves great pub grub and a fine selection of ales from Leeds Brewery. We stopped by for Sunday lunch before heading to the Barbican… very good indeed.

Recently renamed The Fat Badger. A great pub with a hidden roof top garden overlooking the Minster and the old city walls. They have heaters and put up igloos in the winter months so a good option all year round. Serves higher end pub grub in a historical setting.

Another favourite of ours for any time of the day - breakfast, lunch and tea (or dinner as our southern friends call it). Great setting with a terrace overlooking the river, but also boasts a cosy pub inside and a lovely restaurant. Not cheap but a nice treat, especially when the weather is nice.

A lovely high-end restaurant serving beautiful food. They offer tasting menus only and although a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth a visit. If you’re going all out, opt for their wine pairing too!
