Sightseeing

Explore the historic and beautiful Port Nepean, you can get a bus from the carpark to the end of the point (the very tip requires some walking) - and discover the maritime and war fortifications and batteries at Fort Nepean which date back to 1886. The point includes Cheviot Beach on its southern side, which was the site of both the wreck of the SS Cheviot in 1887 and the disappearance of Harold Holt in 1967
