This gem of a park is very close to my home and quite the gem! It's a park that has a nearly 2 mile walk around the perimeter of a forested peninsula (trees on one side, the lake on the other). It's really a must-see! I highly recommend a stroll here.

Bellevue is a great city just across the lake in Seattle! It has more of the fancy restaurants and shops in the downtown area there and is cool getaway to explore. They always have wonderful lights that line their downtown streets and many nice parks in the areas as well!
