The botanical garden is a great place to walk while surrounded by gorgeous landscapes including a shady fern garden, forest, several water features and educational herb area. Also a beautiful venue for weddings and other events.

This is a great place to walk, view downtown Huntsville and find places to eat. (eg Pan e Vino restaurant overlooks the little lake). The spring is the original water source and transport for Huntsville.

If you like regional art, the HMA is a must see. It is located on the East side of Big Spring Park so you can also walk and eat nearby. A nice Italian inspired restaurant, Pan e Vino is located on the lower level of the museum with views of the park. It makes a great morning.
