Large beer garden out back, really good food. Popular for lunch and dinner in their beautiful conservatory restaurant area, or chill with a drink in the comfy bar area. Reasonably priced. Great vibes and lovely decor.

It's in the name - amazing hot chocolate and sweet treats. Great for lunches and seems popular for cyclists too. Right by the river so you can walk off a few of the calories...

Absorb the history of rowing and learn about the Thames, or if you have children who are unlikely to let you pause for more than a second at each display, take them round the Wind in the Willows, and play with the toy selection upstairs. Finish off in the cafe and take a stroll by the river.

For adults, wander in the beautiful gardens and grounds, take a tour of the house and enjoy the cafe. For kids (best for age 3+), explore Tumblestone Hollow, an amazing adventure playground, all wooden structures set on a hill with amazing views. There is a sandpit area, swings and a water feature for young tots too. Maybe see some deer too.
