You can park up and walk down to the castle or drive closer if you prefer. The building is hanging onto the cliff edge but used to have extensive grounds in front of it that have slipped into the sea. This house was the inspiration for Dracula. See it while you can.

An easily accessible stone circle. The area around it was recently deforested which rather detracted from the magical experience of finding the circle after walking through the woods but its well worth a visit.

A lovely walk around a beautiful lake, very easily accessible for all ages and abilities. There is a book in the cottage that tells the history of Pitfour.
