Buses - you need to buy a pre paid card called Rav Kav. No cash or credit cards is accepted at the bus driver

Customs and culture
On Saturday (Shabbat) there is no Public Transportation
Due the the observance of the Shabbat, there is no buses on Saturday.
My advise is to see what is open on Shabbat before you go.
Shabbat starts before sunset on Friday and ends at Sunset on Saturday.

Cost a one time fee of 5 shekels per ride plus 0.50 shekel per minute.
