Sightseeing

A great beach, never crowded as there's 3½ miles of sand when the tide is out! Can be reached by around a 30 minute walk down the hillside to the right from the cottage. A bit of a scramble down the cliff to the beach.

A steep 30 minute walk up the hillside behind Torbant brings you to the (almost) 1000 foot summit of Mynedd Rhiw. If it's clear, the views are fabulous all around - down the peninsular to Aberdaron and Bardsey Island, or across to Anglesey and down to Harlech.

Lovely walk out along the small peninsular alongside the golf course. Tiny hamlet with a pub on the beach so great for a drink before returning to Nefyn!
