If you like boating or just hanging out by lake, Sligo Marina has pontoon boats for rent. They also have a little convenience shopping area, restaurant and full liquor bar. FYI, restaurant and bar are only open on weekends.

This is a nice starter hiking area with some great sights to see. For those that aren't super active, it is fairly easy to navigate and get around.

This is probably the easiest hiking area close by. You get the best of both, water falls and cave.

This cavern has 2 sections. This first section is for those of us that maybe are less active or have health issues. Not exactly easy but not going to over do the activity. The 2nd section is for those that enjoy a real challenge. Enjoy!

Food scene
The Green Gator is a family owned restaurant that caters to down home cooking. I prefer the mushroom swiss burger myself however all of the food is great. The appetizer of the day is always Gator Tail. Trivia is held Tuesdays at 7pm and lately they have had bands on Saturday nights at 8pm. They do serve beer so you can relax after a long day of hiking.

Franks has great food, a great atmosphere and open Monday through Saturday. They serve beer and liquor for those that need a little more after a hard day of sight seeing. Bottoms up!!

This place has an incredible atmosphere. You can eat, have a drink, go out on their back patio and sit around a fire pit. For those country music fans, Aaron Tippin has been known to pop in here every now and the. His tour bus is parked right next door. BEWARE.... there is no Uber and this is a bit of a drive from our place.
