Over hill from unit there is a
nice coffee shop in cooee bay (two sisters) a park, a fish and chip shop and the beach. The villa on the beach (also down there) does great tapas Sunday pm with pre-booking. Recommend!

Small friendly seaside town with amazing beaches, great food and all the essentials. Has a free lagoon and the Keppel kraken water play for younger kids. Only a few kms away is Rosslyn marina where boats for Great Keppel leave each day and which has a couple of great restaurants and a seafood shop.

Swimming pool
20 mins walk away. Great spot! Cafe good for coffee, snacks, can take your own food, restaurant upstairs (the rocks) great spot for evening fine dining.
At busy times of year particularly summer hols - parking easiest first thing but mostly paid for. (Note - driving further round past pool outside council offices on right is free outside work hours and at weekends).
Areas for small kids and older at lagoon, kids under 12 need parental supervision. Lifeguards on early until 8/9 in summer.

3 Lagoon Pl20 mins walk away. Great spot! Cafe good for coffee, snacks, can take your own food, restaurant upstairs (the rocks) great spot for evening fine dining.

The usual caves tour is fun, but kids loved the Capricorn explorer tour with headlamps etc but need closed in shoes and be prepared to get filthy. At times in the year there is opera in the cathedral cave which is supposed to be amazing
