Velkommen til Poulsbo! Poulsbo is a Nordic-influenced bayside town in Kitsap County. Spend a day strolling around the small arts and crafts and clothing shops (Red Plantation, Plum shoes, Nordiska, Liberty Bay books are favorites), tasting the local delights (Sluys bakery), or (in the summer) paddle round the bay in a kayak rented right from downtown. There is so much to do and see in Seattle...but here are a few attractions within easy walking distance of the ferry terminal Space Needle and International Fountain at Seattle Center Seattle Aquarium Historic Pioneer Square Seattle Art Museum Pike Place Market Chihuly Garden and Glass Uwajimaya And, of course, shopping! You can drive on the Bainbridge ferry, but we recommend parking this side of the water and walking on to avoid the hassle/price of parking in the City. Kingston Fast Ferry is easiest but only runs commuting days/hours (park at Viking Way park and ride and take #307 bus over to save a few $ on parking). Alternatively, take Bainbridge Island Ferry right into downtown. It’s free heading into town, you pay only on the return leg. Parking at the ferry is about $12-15/day, but may be worth the convenience.
