What to pack
Luggage recommendations
The town and the houses are built on steps. Lots of stairs everywhere.
● I recommended that you take as little luggage as possible for old town Dubrovnik.
● Don't expect that the stairs will be easy or not so scary, because they are. So, if you are not ready for that challenge, we do not recommend the old town for you. ●Steps- cannot be changed, never ever.
Getting around
Uber or local bus.
Uber is the best from airport. And bus Platanus. For Lapad bay local bus no.6
For Port Gruž or main bus station bus no.1 a or 1 b.
Customs and culture
We have a lot of strict rules for old town.
●Garbage: thrown out only in the early morning and late evening hours.
●The parking: is small and most for locals.
●The city is not a hotel: Local people live there, so, silence is important.
●The city is protected! It is not allowed to drag your suitcases inside the city or inside the house!
●It is not allowed to walk in a bathing suit or without a shirt on the main street and most of other streets.
●It is very difficult to buy or repair something in the old town, that's why we always ask tourists to take care of things.
