Check out Big Spring Park, grab some food at one of the local options and then check out a Havoc game or a concert at the VBC. You can get anywhere on foot from the park.

This is a 30 minute drive, but it's a great visit if you have a day with kids. It is a 1-2 hour visit and everyone will have a good time. There is a Mellow Mushroom and Moe's Barbeque just a quick walk from the museum. I recommend the Brick Deli as well for lunch. There is really no need to venture any farther into Decatur, the museum and a good meal are all you need, and it's just across the river.

133 4th Ave NEThis is a 30 minute drive, but it's a great visit if you have a day with kids. It is a 1-2 hour visit and everyone will have a good time.
