you will park up at the lodge (note it's paid parking) and take a walk round the various trails and paths. there are lots of artworks and sculpture around the park to view as well as the amazing views and waterfalls. there is a visitors centre at the top with cafe, shop and toilet facilities. also here is GoApe (a tree top walk and zipwire adventure course) which is best to book in advance.

A great hill climb to get stunning views of loch Katrine. note that on a nice day the carpark gets very busy so I would recommend doing this early morning to get the best chance of a spot and have the hill less busy. Take a picnic or just a short drive from here is a nice spot for food called venechar lochside. It's not huge but it's located right on the loch best call to book a table to avoid disappointment.

approximately 20miles from the pod is the village of Callander. With little shops and visitor centre and places to eat and drink it makes a nice spot for a wander. If you fancy a dining spot for an occasion I would suggest the Roman camp. With its distinctive pink exterior and cosy library for drinks its the perfect place for some lovely food. there are also lovely grounds to have a walk down to the river. always best to call and book.
