To do and visit, day trips 1- 3 hrs from the condo

Activities to have fun, beautiful places to visit on day trips if they are more than 1.5 hours away, leave very early
Take a day trip to Isla Espiritu Santo, the virgin paradise in South Baja About the island Espiritu Santo (Spanish for ‘Holy Spirit’) is in the state of Baja California Sur, only 22 miles off the coast from state capital La Paz, from where you can get by boat in 45 minutes. It is both a Natural Protected Area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due do its extraordinary biodiversity. It has a land area of 31.183 square miles, which makes it the 12th largest island in Mexico. Only a narrow canal separates it from Isla Partida, which is just as beautiful –you can explore both in the same expedition. How to get to Isla Espiritu Santo, there’s only one way, and that’s by boat. From the condo if you rented a car (As I recommend you from the first message) drive towards La Paz, look for Balandra beach (must visit) and later for Tecolote Beach search it in google maps or try this link: https://goo.gl/maps/SMiKUPDci1szoRxz5 It takes 3 hrs to get there, leave veeery early arrive there at 8 am over there are boats for the day trip, they include lunch and everything, spend in the full experience... Or Go on a tour with an authorized operator, who will take you from La Paz to the island and back. You can go to La Paz, drive there from Los Cabos via the number 1 federal highway or catch a bus from either Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo. What to do in Isla Espiritu Santo The surrounding reefs are home to numerous fish species such as parrotfish, angelfish, trumpetfish or rainbow wrasse, and also sharks, dolphins, turtles, rays and even whales, during some seasons. This is why snorkeling and scuba diving are very popular activities here, and you can hire a tour that is specifically oriented to them. Also, watch out for the wild sea lions that roam around –but don’t get too close if you don’t wish to scare them away. The archipelago these islands are a part of is also home to a lot of bird species, which you can easily spot during the trip.

Ocean National park - Cabo pulmo 2.5 hrs from the condo look for it in Google Maps or follow this link https://goo.gl/maps/iR7Vz4RVLk415q4K6 Leave early in the morning and book your scuba dive in advance! There are many options on internet If you are interested in diving with sharks, you can check the offer with Alex -- he has also other types of trips , scuba, etc..(tell them Lorenzo recommended you with him) +52 33 1355 6848 -- whatsapp Cabo Pulmo is a very small and cozy village located at the “East Cape” of Los Cabos. The abundance of marine life, makes this magical place unique. Therefore it attracts scuba divers from all over the world. The scuba diving reef of Cabo Pulmo is thought to be 20,000 years old while being the most northern coral reef in the eastern Pacific. Since the finger shaped reef of Cabo Pulmo runs parallel to the coast the dive sites are fairly shallow. The Mexican President, Ernesto Zedillo, declared the area surrounding Cabo Pulmo to be a National Marine Park on June 5, 1995. As a result, marine life was allowed to flourish. There are more than 10 beautiful scuba diving and snorkeling sites in Cabo Pulmo marine reserve. Scuba divers often dive with large schools of fish like big eye jacks, snappers, pork fish in addition to several types of rays. In addition there are incredibly large groupers, the occasional bull sharks and also manta rays. We have more than 15 years of experience in scuba diving and snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo and therefore always choose the best dive sites according to the daily conditions. Cabo Pulmo is a large reef system on the east side of the Baja Peninsula, a 2 hour drive away from Cabo San Lucas. In the winter time Cabo Pulmo can offer some great diving. For this tour, you will dive with our partners “Cabo Pulmo Travel”, who will ensure you have a safe and fun diving experience. You will be picked up by their arranged transport at “Dive Cabo” at 11:00 am, and we aim to be back in Cabo by 7pm. Some highlights being El Islote, El Bajo, Los Cantiles and a shipwreck, “El Colima”, which was a tuna boat sunk by a storm in 1939 whose pilothouse and hull are now covered in corals, green anemones and a few dazzling nudibranchs! Things you should know about – Cabo Pulmo Scuba Diving: – Moorings and anchors are not located in the park. Free descents are conducted on every dive – Local regulations do not allow gloves and dive knifes. – Maximum dive time of 45 minutes. – Large underwater cameras require a special permit. Please inquire with us before booking. – Underwater strokes are prohibited. Dive Conditions August – December: The water will be warmer, clearer and there will be less wind than at other times of the year. Being further north-east the park has the advantage of being further from the Pacific Ocean during swell season and often the diving conditions here are less affected than in Cabo during this time. Spring and summer
January – July: Spring and summer sees the return of the north winds which chill the surface temperatures down and can change in a matter of days, especially when the upwelling from the northern Pacific makes its way round the peninsular.

Beautiful beach near (15 min) the condo to visit and spend the day Google Santa Maria Beach or follow this link https://goo.gl/maps/7uMvu8c7ASC5QnKE9 Santa Maria Beach – Further along the highway at kilometer twelve is yet another must see beach at Bahía Santa María next to location for the former exclusive Hotel Twin Dolphin. Look for the beach access sign and follow the road to the parking area. It is a short walk to this beautiful protected cove. As you gaze out to the azure sea you will see the peaceful horseshoe shaped beach with sand the color and consistency of pink rice. Relatively secluded, Bahía Santa María is a protected marine sanctuary, so bring along a bag of bread or tortillas and feed the multi-colored creatures of the deep. This is an excellent spot for snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. This marine preserve is a prime destination for many charter boats that offer snorkeling and SCUBA diving excursions departing from the Cabo San Lucas harbor. If you want to see a world of friendly colorful tropical fish, this is the place to go. Mornings, when it’s calm, is usually best for optimum underwater visibility.

Very close (15 min) from the condo worth to visit it an spend the day Google Chileno Bay public Beach or follow the link https://goo.gl/maps/Tonnp3GE9eZEkVAz8 Located along the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México. While spring breakers and tourists flock to Médano Beach, local residents often turn to Chileno Bay (Bahia Chileno)—and for good reason. The beach, conveniently located off the Tourist Corridor, is regularly ranked as one of the cleanest in all of México. Access to the beach is well marked from the main highway. The parking area is not paved, but is graded and marked off for easy parking. Access to the beach is a short walk from the parking lot. There is a lifeguard stand on the beach, trash disposal stations, and portable toilets, often referred to as a porta-potty, between the parking area and beach. I went on Wednesday during Easter break and did not find the beach very crowded. Playa Chileno has been named a Blue Flag beach by the Blue Flag program that is operated under the auspices of the Foundation for Environmental Education and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. http://www.blueflag.global/. Also has an embarrassment of riches in the amenities department: paved parking lot, showers, bathrooms, shade palapas, even some access for the disabled. And we haven’t even mentioned the calm waters, excellent snorkeling conditions, or must-explore tide pools. Crazy as it sounds, here’s an insider’s tip: During whale season, take a moment to hold your head underwater and just listen. You may be rewarded with the sweet singing of a humpback whale. Chileno Bay, like many of the area’s best beaches, is located just off the Tourist Corridor. Look for signs around km 14

Costa Azul beach 25 min from the condo https://goo.gl/maps/W8CwsjKJjKNcY3SD7 For surfing lessons you can contact Ramiro they have very good teachers for entry level They are located on the way to San Jose del Cabo +52 624 238 6232 —WhatsApp you can tell them that Lorenzo y Gabriela shared your number (perhaps they will remember us) Costa Azul in Baja Sur is an exposed beach break that has very reliable surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south southeast. Why: Capital of the summer surf scene, Costa Azul is the mecca for those seeking beers, burgers, and tasty waves. Zipper’s Restaurant is the seaside hangout supreme, while the offshore Zippers is an expert-level, right-hand reef break. Two other breaks, the beginner-friendly Middle and the more difficult La Roca also draw local and visiting surfers. Sun and sand are also in great supply, and this is one of the best walking beaches in Los Cabos. When: The best time to visit Costa Azul is in June, when the World Surf League hosts its annual Los Cabos Open of Surf at Zippers. This year’s event, for women and juniors, was held June 7–12. Where: Playa Costa Azul is on the southwestern edge of San José del Cabo, between kms 28 and 29 on the Transpeninsular Highway.

Looking for surfing in a more professional way?, or enjoying the beach with a boogie board? Longboarders love Cerritos, where NW swells wrap nicely down the headland at all tides and the beach peaks offer something for all abilities. Cerritos Beach Club and Surf has rentals and food and the whole stretch is earmarked for development with condos, hotels, golf courses etc. There is often a sandbar visible on a right point break, with variable waves on the inside; and depending on the sand bar, you can often catch some nice lefts that peel into beautiful tubes. Cerritos breaks steadily, set after set, with no frequent “waiting time” between sets. This creates a constant “white water” parade of waves on the inside shallow water, making it a wonderful place to learn how to surf. It is easily reached and well sign posted off the main Highway (Km66 mark) from Cabo to La Paz before Todos Santos.
